STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

The strategic analysis is based on an understanding of the company's internal and external environments and all the factors that influence its development. By studying the macroenvironment and the company's strengths and weaknesses, it is possible for the organization to establish a strategic plan that makes its success feasible

Strenghts

1- different suppliers and 1 shipping: in our delivery application, the consumer, if desired, can order food from different restaurants and in the end pay only one shipping, since all their orders would leave from the same place.  

 

2- many different services to offer the customer - our business offers different services to our customers, from a complete logistics system, couriers, private and shared platforms to a customized kitchen for the customer and his production system. These services can be combined with the customer in the way he prefers. If he doesn't want one of these services, for example, we can change the price and agree with him.

3- our delivery service is cheaper than using a delivery app- for our client restaurants, what happens is that our delivery service is much cheaper than signing up for a new delivery app, such as rappi or Ifood, as these have very high rates. Although not all of our customers will want to "drop" other apps for their respective recognition, we do offer this option and intend to increase the recognition of our platform over time and with the help of our customers.

Weaknesses

The start-up capital is very high, we have to build several kitchens to open our business and they need to be equipped, but also because of other high initial costs of system, space and etc, the value of our start-up capital becomes very high.

Opportunities

The delivery market has grown more and more and with the pandemic, deliveries have leveraged. One of the main opportunity factors comes from people not wanting to leave the house. 
Restaurants have closed with restrictive measures due to the coronavirus, so a large space does not make sense for the restaurant as it only serves delivery.
Another interesting factor to be noted is the fact that companies do not have to deal with another contract as a motorcycle courier, as our business offers its own personalized service for deliveries.

SWOT ANALYSIS

The acronym comprises political, economic, social/cultural, technological, environmental and legal variables. The following contains a summary of the analysis of each macro environment variable observed by the company, separating them into PESTEL categories and into opportunity or threat classifications.  


 

This is a strategic planning technique that makes it possible for the company to understand its strengths and weaknesses and understand how it can use these factors to achieve success in the market. In the words of university professor and writer Philip Kotler "The global assessment of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats is called SWOT analysis."

 

Our company is focused on contributing to our customers, we know that most of them face difficulties for having to pay very high fees for delivery applications, such as: Uber eats, Ifood, among others. So one of the strengths of our company is that our delivery service is cheaper for the customer. In addition, we provide services that bring more convenience than having a place located for your restaurant (a physical store). For example: We are responsible for the development of water, gas and energy channels; With business logistics; With the standardization of kitchens, being assembled in a way that contributes to the company's agility; A management and order monitoring system. All these to make restaurants focused on just producing their food. However, we will have a very high cost, so the money we will have to invest is very high, so that we can assemble our entire system in order to meet the needs of our customers.

  The opportunity observed was the growth in delivery. That's because one of our company's focuses is delivery, the distribution of orders from our customers to their consumers. We also have technological growth, as we can increasingly improve and update our systems, such as management and order monitoring, which is something we aim at in our business. The financial crisis, because that way the restaurants looked for more economical ways to deal with the expenses, and our company will be a great option. And finally, the contract for the provision of restricted service, so that we can have a safer business, which can favor us

   As we have the opportunities, we will also face some threats, such as the fact that we have many competitors close, so our consumers will have more company options and more risks of not closing with us. Or financial crisis, which  as much as it is an opportunity, it is also a threat, as it can cause several restaurants to go bankrupt, and thus we lose potential customers. And finally, the fact that our target audience is very segmented. Our audience is very specific, so it's not something very broad that gives to more people.
